Drawing on her extensive experience in the non-acute healthcare supply chain sector assisting customers with their needs, Kitchens places the customer at the center of her work. She enjoys helping them discover how they can consolidate their purchases to save money.
By understanding the pain points facing non-acute healthcare providers, Kitchens has championed the addition of contracts focusing on telehealth, cataract surgery and incontinence. She has also added suppliers who specialize in serving non-acute and non-healthcare markets.
As one of the first contacts for new suppliers, Kitchens encourages partnerships with Provista that drive mutual growth. Kitchens joined Vizient in 2001 and began her career working with a manufacturer of healthcare products, where she learned the business from the bottom up. During her more than 30 years in the healthcare industry, she has held positions in sales, marketing, national accounts, contract management and strategy.
